World-class Clinicians Discuss Dentine Hypersensitivity

GlaxoSmithKline, maker of Sensodyne¨ toothpaste, is proud to announce that dental professionals can now obtain a free copy of Current Perspectives on Dentin Hypersensitivity, a continuing education program based on the 2002 FDI World Dental Congress symposium. This comprehensive course featuring a diverse panel of world-recognized clinicians provides guidelines for diagnosing and managing dentin hypersensitivity, a condition which goes largely undiagnosed and affects one-in-five adults in the United States. Up to four hours of CE credit are available through the University of Louisville School of Dentistry, an ADA CERP recognized provider as approved by the American Dental Association. This education program is made possible through an educational grant from GlaxoSmithKline.

Upon completion of the course, dental professionals will be better able to identify patients at risk for dentin hypersensitivity and make an accurate diagnosis. Treatment options for dentin hypersensitivity are detailed, including the different benefits of home care and professional management strategies.
