What is the cost to participate in the PoliCare program?
This program is free to participating dental professionals and their patients. Participants in the PoliCare program receive 12 free PoliCare Complete Care for Dentures kits, and any additional kits can be ordered separately. Why? We want to help dental professionals like you increase patient satisfaction with their dentures and their overall oral care, by providing a helpful combination of tools, products and support. PoliCare is designed to help answer patients everyday questions, as well as address emotional and physical concerns related to living with dentures, through techniques, tips and the knowledge that the denture patient is not alone.

What comes in a PoliCare Complete Care for Dentures kit?
When you sign up for the PoliCare program, we’ll send you a supply of 12 free PoliCare Complete Care for Dentures kits. These offer your patients everything they’ll need to start taking care of their new dentures right away, and includes:
- Polident® Overnight Whitening Tablets
- Super PoliGrip® Denture Adhesive Cream
- Super PoliGrip® Comfort Seal Strips® Denture Adhesive
- Dental Brush
- Denture Bath
- Patient Education DVD and brochure with valuable money-saving coupons
You will also receive the following patient education materials:
- Posters—including “Ten Things You Should Know About Your New Dentures,” and a “Join PoliCare” informational poster
- Booklet and display—This take-home aid has been designed help your patients understand the complete denture and partial process, the care and maintenance regimen, and how to live life to the fullest.
- Care Option Tearpad—Are dentures or partials an appropriate option for your patient? Give them the information they need to with the Care Option Tearpad. This useful piece makes it easy for you to show prospective denture or partial patients the labor and costs of the various dental options that are available. This is comparison made easy!
- Managing Patient Expectations Self-Assessment Quiz Tearpad—This convenient hard-copy quiz helps both you and your patients first understand, and then effectively manage, denture and partial expectations.

What will I be charged for shipping?
You will not be charged for shipping the PoliCare products and educational materials associated with this program.
If I run out of materials, how do I order more?

What does it mean when you say PoliCare offers Patient Education and Practice Management Tools that are “customizable”?
The PoliCare program offers a number of informational pieces, such as patient education handouts, appointment reminders and e-newsletters, that registrants to the program can automatically customize to print with their practice name, address, phone number and more. This means patients will not only have the helpful denture care information they need, but will have your contact information at their fingertips.
Are there limits to the amount of PoliCare program support items I can order at a time?
We want to make sure you have the PoliCare patient support items you need but, yes, we must limit the number of items each practice can receive per quarter. We feel the quantities we allow each practice will be enough for you to share with all your new denture patients. Limits are as follows:
- Posters: limit 5 per quarter
- Counter Stand for “Living With Dentures” Brochure: 5 per quarter
- “Living Well with Dentures” Brochure: 250 per quarter
- Employee Buttons: 1 package per quarter (Contains 12 buttons)
- PoliCare DVD: 5 per quarter
- Mouse Pads: 5 per quarter
- Managing Patient Expectations Self-Assessment Quiz Tearpad: 2 per quarter
- Care Option Tearpad: 2 per quarter

How do I sign up for the PoliCare e-newsletter?
Signing up for the newsletter is easy. When you sign up for the PoliCare program, on the registration form, you will be asked the following question:
May GlaxoSmithKline Dental-Professional.com have your permission to send you communications related to dental products?
Simply check, “Yes” and you’ll be added to our email mailing list. And if you’ve already registered, simply login to your account and check the “Yes” option to join the mailing list.
I’ve signed up for the PoliCare program. When can I expect my first shipment of materials?
When you sign up for the PoliCare program, your order for materials is placed in our system. You can expect to receive your shipment in 4-8 weeks.
